About Me

Hi my name is Donna (and that little lady in the picture with me is my daughter and the reason i started on this path) and I run Rose Light Photography. I am a Newborn, Children's and Family photographer based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire. Ever since I have been able to hold a camera I have been in love with taking pictures. For me, it's what a picture can do and how it makes you feel that I love and being able to capture special moments and freeze them forever is.

In 2012, I fell pregnant with my first child. A few months later my Husband bought me my first DSLR camera and for my baby shower one of my oldest friends got me the gift that would help change my life forever. She bought me a maternity and newborn photoshoot with a local photography who has since become a friend.  This gift opened my eyes to a what sort of phptography i wanted to pursue and from those very first images of my daughter I knew this was what I wanted to do for my career.

My husband Lee along with my 2 children are incredibly supportive of me and my dream and without them I wouldn't be here today doing what i love. They keep me going when I want to quit and give me the confidence to keep going. 

 

I absolutely love capturing your beautiful babies, children and families. for me this isn't just a job its my passion.
